Meet Sarah.
I’m a registered dietitian that enjoys dabbling in several different areas of health and wellness. I like working out. I like God. I like cooking good food.
I’ve been working for three years now and all was well for awhile, but I noticed a problem in my few years out of school. Humans are out walking around with no understanding of their body. No idea what current research is showing. No idea the damage they’re initiating in their day to day routine. But, it’s okay – because they’re not as bad as the next person.
That’s hardly an approach to health.
There’s a HUGE gap between current scientific research on health and nutrition and what consumers are actually grasping. I’ve talked to these extremely intelligent persons doing research, and if they were explaining their research to a normal (non-science background) human being the message would be lost in translation.
All this is to ask, what good is the research if the producer cannot translate the worth to the consumer. That’s where I come in. My whole life, I’ve had trouble dealing with authority or rules that couldn’t be explained. I needed to know WHY. If you don’t know why, I’m here to let you know.
In my pursuit of why we do things the way we do, or why we recommend certain practices, I’ve stumbled across some important bits of wisdom. I’d like to share them with you. This blog is meant to help me reach the masses. Let me know if there’s something I can do to help you understand anything I’m writing about.
